Topic: Three theological virtues

U.S. Catholic Bishops - Catechism of the Catholic Church
Faith is the theological virtue by which we believe in God and believe all that he has said and revealed to us, and that Holy Church proposes for our belief, because he is truth itself.
Justice toward God is called the "virtue of religion." Justice toward men disposes one to respect the rights of each and to establish in human relationships the harmony that promotes equity with regard to persons and to the common good.
By faith, we believe in God and believe all that he has revealed to us and that Holy Church proposes for our belief.

The other five virtues are: Saucha (internal and external purity), Santosha (contentment), Tapas (austerity), Svadhyaya (study of scriptures or recitation of Mantra) and Isvarpranidhana (consecration of the fruits of all works to the Lord).

They are self-evident, in virtue of the beatific vision, and there is no longer any possibility of faith.

 CATHOLIC ENCYCLOPEDIA: Virtue
It is commonly defined as a Divinely infused virtue, by which we trust, with an unshaken confidence grounded on the Divine assistance, to attain life everlasting.
Theological virtues do not absolutely (per se) consist in a mean, as their object is something infinite.
Thus perpetual chastity, which renounces all sexual pleasures, and voluntary poverty, which renounces all temporal possessions, are true virtues, when exercised for the motive of more surely securing life everlasting.

The Theological Virtues of Faith, Hope, and Love
The origins of the Theological Virtues lie with Scripture.
MY God, I firmly believe that Thou art one God in three divine persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit; I believe that Thy divine Son became man and died for our sins, and that He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe these and all the truths which the holy Catholic Church teaches, because Thou hast revealed them, Who canst neither deceive nor be deceived.

James and the Catholic scholastic theologians were using faith in its third, narrowest sense: as just one of the three theological virtues.

In Christianity, the theological virtues are faith, hope and charity, a list which comes from 1 Corinthians 13:13.
In the official Catechism of the Catholic Church published in 1992 by Pope John Paul II, these seven vices are dealt as moral transgression for Christians and should complement the Ten Commandments and the Beatitudes as the basis for any true Morality.
These are said to perfect one's love of God and Man and therefore (since God is super-rational) to harmonize and partake of prudence.

The Chief Virtues of Man (1905)
There is a natural virtue of faith in the things of this world, which all men possess, and without which human life could not go on; for, as has often been pointed out, men in their business affairs act, not on mathematical certainty, but on probability; that is, on faith.
The natural virtue of faith, on which all our business life depends, is a belief in human evidence--in a sense, a belief in one another.
And in meditation, more than in any other way, you exercise and develop faith; you transform the potential faith which is infused into you soul, into the actual faith which enables you to live that life of faith by which you please God, and taste, even now, of the happiness which belongs to God's children.
