Consecration of the Catholicos Aboon Mor Baselios Paulose II Consequently the Malankara Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church elected Mor Philoxenos Paulose as the new Catholicose-designate and in 1975 he was ordained as Catholicose Mor Baselios Paulose II for the Indian Church.
