Joseph is the patron against doubt and hesitation, as well as the patron saint of fighting communism, and of a happy death.
Not much is known of Joseph except that he was "of the House of David" and lived in the town of Nazareth.
Joseph of Nazareth, also called Joseph the Betrothed and Saint Joseph, was the legal father of Jesus of Nazareth (Matthew 1:16; Luke 3:23) and the husband of Mary.

I shall never forget a homily given by the late Father Cyril Karam, O.S.B., a biblical and patristic scholar, wherein he explained that the original Greek of the New Testament, where the Angel tells Saint Joseph of the Child, can be taken as "for as you know" the Child of the Holy Spirit.
Since Saint Joseph was a carpenter Jesus was knows as "the carpenter’s Son." How pleased He must have been about that!
