Perseus, Greek Περσεύς, was the son of Danae, and the only grandchild of Acrisius king of Argos.
Perseus and Andromeda had six sons: Perses, Alcaeus, Heleus, Mestor, Sthenelus, and Electryon.
The first was supposedly left in Ethiopia and became ancestor of the emperors of Persia to explain the similarity of the country's name and Perseus'.

It was when Perseus was flow over the coast of Æthiopia (not present day Ethiopia) that he noticed Andromeda chained to the rocks by the sea, and not far away he could see Cetus, the sea-monster as a whale, rapidly nearing her.
Joyful beyond words, Cepheus and Cassiopeia led Perseus and Andromeda to their house, where a great feast and celebration were prepared.

i also need to know what the allusions were compared to the myth of perseus : : IU have found a couple of them but i would like to know where i could find about a half dozen more or so...so i can relate all of the different myths togther.
