Patroclus - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Peleus sent the boys to live in the wilderness and be raised by Chiron, the wise King of the centaurs.
Achilles' grief was great and for some time, he refused to bury Patroclus' body, but he was persuaded to do so by an apparition of Patroclus, who told him he could not enter Hades without a proper cremation.
She might be related to her namesake daughter of Pandion I, King of Athens and Zeuxippe.

Patroclus gained the confidence of the new pope at once; as early as 22 March he received a papal letter which conferred upon him the rights of a metropolitan over all the bishops of the Gallic provinces of Viennensis and Narbonensis I and II.
The festival was attended by Patroclus, Bishop of Arles, who had been raised to that see in place of Bishop Hero, who had been forcibly and unjustly removed by the imperial general Constantine.
Patroclus, who enjoyed the support of the commander Constantine, used this opportunity to procure for himself the position of supremacy above mentioned, by winning over Zosimus to his ideas.

So it was that hands long accustomed to grasping the hilt of a sword or the shaft of a spear learned gentleness anew.
