Janaka Maharaja was known as a Yogi, King of Mithalapuri and Seetha's Father.
Then Janaka Maharaj said, "So it is with me. I do all the administratative work for the kingdom and am involved in samsara but my thought is always with the Divine."
Babaji concluded from this story that we can meditate at home, do our normal routine work and we don't have to go to the jungle or the cave to do meditation.

The ministers along with all of the great sages said in consonance, "Most Welcome..." and then that highly pleased king Dasharatha said to the ministers, "we travel tomorrow..."
On going to the palace those envoys are given an audience with the consent of Dasharatha, and when they are conducted into the palace-chambers they have seen the elderly king Dasharatha gleaming like a god.

I am associated with so many military high ups...and they all have similar sentiments when it comes to the discussion about Janaka perera.....they all say he was a show boy and took power into his own hands.
I for one should know about Janaka, bacause many in my family have to tolerate his antics at work(actually used to).
I am referring to the letter regarding the General Janaka Perera's appointment as JOC..........I suppose some people at SPUR have something to gain by supporting such a man as him, as Janaka Perera is known to lean towards the 'Green' camp more often than not.

 Tamil Aussies to oppose Janaka as High Commissioner
AUSTRALIAN Tamils of Sri Lankan origin are to launch a protest campaign against former Army Chief of Staff Major General Janaka Perera,who is Sri Lanka's new high commissioner designate to Australia and is tipped to present his credentials shortly in Canberra.
If Perera was not rejected or recalled the campaign would focus on the demand to have him tried in international tribunals.
He received approval by the High Posts committee last week.
