International Tibetan Aid Organization - Located in Amsterdam, Netherlands, this organization was formed in 2004 to provide an EU counterpart to the International Tibetan Independence Movement.
International Tibetan Independence Movement - Located in Indiana, U.S. It was formed in 1995 as an official organization and focus for the various international activities.

 Indiana University Students for a Free Tibet
Since its occupation of Tibet, China has committed what can only be called genocide in the region, killing over 1.2 million Tibetans, destroying over 6000 monasteries, brutally suppressing anyone who dares to speak out against Chinese rule, and doing anything and everything to undermine the religion and culture of the Tibetan people.
After spending the past few years in the U.S. seeking medical treatment and promoting independence and human rights in Tibet, she will soon be joining thousands of other Tibetan refugees in India, for as an ex-political prisoner, there is no future for her in her home country.
She is now in the U.S. to promote the cause of the Tibetan people by telling her story.

While we have worked very closely with the Tibetan community and we have seen film footage of the invasion, the movie captured the destruction of Tibet and Tibetans in a way that none of us had ever experienced in our mind's eye.
Additionally, we were very thankful to learn more about His Holiness The Dalai Lama's childhood.

This is an essay that tries to present information that most Free Tibet pamphlets and articles omit, and builds the argument that campaigning to "free" Tibet is both socially and morally irresponsible."
