Topic: High Magick

 Teachings: Magick, High and Low
High magick, or theurgy, in a different sense refers to magick used to achieve a mystical religious experience where the magician is united with divinity or the godhead.
Their magickal practices were more of a trade or calling rather than a religious faith.
Magickal power is also traditionally believed to reside in peoples' secret or magickal names and other "words of power." For this reason these names and magickal incantations need to be kept secret to keep opponents from using them to place curses.

 2C Lesson Eleven
I prefer the term "Wicca" for the religion, and "Magick" for the magick.
Most High Magicks require that you follow a particular faith or are part of a family.
Skipping the "high Magick" or ceremonial magick, that requires more intensive training than I have the capacity to give, I've chosen to focus these two magick lessons on five aspects of "low magick" that are often featured in Wiccan books as "Wiccan Magick." They are not Wiccan magick, but magick done by Wiccans.

 High Magick
High Magick is a term that describes using magick for spiritual growth and development (instead of material or earthly matters such as love, money, power, or happiness).
It is important to note that although I said High Magick is not concerned with mundane things that is not entirely true.
Using these arguments it is easy to see how people could get Ceremonial Magick confused with High Magick.

High magic is practiced for spiritual enlightenment, so it is pretty much all of theurgy, to a first approximation.
