Origin belief - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In Islam all creation is attributed to Allah (the proper name for God in Arabic), the one and only God for Muslims.
This is typified, for example, by the assumption that the first verse of the Christian Bible ("In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth") indicates the only self-existent entity is God with all other things deriving from God.
Several religions have creation stories, some of which account for the existence and present form of the Universe by the act of creation by a supreme being or the Creator God.

 Religious Movements Homepage: Creation Spirituality
Creation Spirituality is also found in the teachings of the Greek fathers of the Church.
The history of the ideology of Creation Spirituality Fox says, "is the oldest tradition in the Bible, and the way of indigenous peoples."Fox contends that Creation Spirituality is not a new religion, but is concerned with renewing theologies and practices within religion and culture that promotepersonal wholeness, planetary survival, and universal interdependence.
Sacred or Revered Texts: Creation Spirituality is derived mainly from the Old and New Testament of the Bible, ranging from the prologue to John's Gospel to the Bookof Revelation.

Here is an updated summary of Creation beliefs found in South Africa and alternative methods of Remembering and Knowing
Islamic beliefs on the creation is very closely linked to Christian and Jewish creation beliefs, as set out in Genesis.
Lastly God made man to be the ruler of what is in the seas, on the land and in the skies (Genisis 1:1-27, the Holy Bible).
On the fourth day God created fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, and on the fifth day he created animals on land.

Yes, God's covenant with the earth is a covenant of faithful sustenance and continuous creation.
If the creation narrative in Genesis 1 depicts God as transcendent, that is, wholly other than the creation, "standing apart," as it were, from the creation he calls into existence, then the creation story of Genesis 2 emphasizes God's immanence, his presence within the creation, his intimate interaction with the creation.
The creation is called forth by this one God in a placid and orderly manner and given structure; it is not the expression of contending divine forces that Israel's neighbors believed accounted for the changes and upheavals they experienced within nature.

 Creationism, by Helen Fryman.
Thus, "creation science" is not a separate science itself, but a way of looking at science through the eyes of those who believe, in whatever form, that the universe and all life was the result of creation by some kind of deity.
The Islamic faith is a creationist faith (whether or not its proponents agree with this position).
This is doing a great disservice to the beliefs of many other people in the world.

 What is Creationism?
The basis for their belief is a literal reading of the Bible.
This belief is based on a literal reading of the Bible, such as references to the "four corners of the earth" and the "circle of the earth." Few people hold this extreme view, but some do.
Nor are they based on religion (although the Raelian position is the basis for a religion).

 Creationism
Creationism encompasses a range of beliefs, including some who believe that God created life exactly as described in Genesis, others who believe that God created life using the mechanism of evolution (Theistic Evolutionism), and others who assert merely that there is empirical evidence that some intelligent force designed life (Intelligent Design).
Belief in biblically literal creation, however, is confined to a tiny minority of the academic community.
Strictly speaking, creationism refers only to the belief that the universe in general and life in particular were created by some divine agency, while evolution refers only to the belief that species differentiate over time through the process of mechanism of mutation and natural selection.

 Destiny of No Choice-Abortionmetaphors5
Centuries-old beliefs and divine commands tell us that prenatal human life is sacred.
Unity is regained by finding our Creator with whom we can become whole by losing ourselves, as Jesus Christ directed us, so that we may gain the kingdom of heaven, a unity with the father God and the son Jesus Christ.
People are created to interact with themselves, with other beings and the world, and most importantly with God.

VARIOUS EVOLUTION AND CREATION SCIENCE BELIEFS
Creation science: God created the universe during 6 consecutive 24 hour days less than 10,000 years ago, precisely as a one of the literal interpretations of the Biblical book of Genesis would indicate.
All of the various species of plants and animals that currently exist (and that once existed) on earth are descendants of the original life forms that God created during the single week of creation.
Hundreds of religions around the world teach creation stories which account for the diversity of life on Earth.

They also base their belief on the 39 Articles of the Church of England, written in 1901.
Because they are open to all forms of belief about creation, an old-earth creationist should be accepted by this denomination.
There is no mention of the length of creation on their Doctrine page.

 Lesson Plan
Most students will have their own opinions and beliefs on how the world came to be.
It is important that students are able to justify their beliefs and show why they believe something is true.
It is important that these stories be heard, along with the more typical teachings of evolution and Judeo-Christian God creation.

Creation myths from Central Asia to Anatolia
In one belief, the world is carried in the arms of a guardian angel.
Eventually the people enrage the gods and in their anger, the gods create a flood to wipe them out.
These beliefs, transformed into tales, have led to the development of creation mythologies.

Accent on Mormon Beliefs - The Creation and the Fall of Man
In the beginning of the earth's creation, the Spirit of God watched over and nurtured the earth as it incubated and became ready to be born.
In the beginning of the earth's creation, the garden of Eden was a temple because it was a place where a sinless God could come and dwell among His people.
The most commonly held belief among Christians is that the reward of the righteous is to inherit the kingdom of God (Matt.

Many peopleís beliefs concerning origins come from their own specific values and worldviews and that is a completely rational and acceptable position.
I am suggesting that Christian creationists support their beliefs as a worldview rather than as science, and focus on why we believe in God the Creator rather than why others shouldnít believe evolution.
An important aspect of this belief system is that evolution and creation are not mutually exclusive, but must be considered separately on their own merits, one by data the other by faith

Evolution/Creation theistic beliefs - TheologyWeb Campus
Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems a person could beleive that God created everything and used evolution as a tool, thereby being OEC and theistic evolutionist at the same time.
Please visit our forums where we debate and discuss everything from religion, politics, lifestyle, pop culture, to who is the coolest member of the moderating team.
Not to long ago, someone,(sorry I can't remember who) told me that theistic evolution meant that evolution was mostly natural, with God intervening now and then.
