 Congregation for Divine Worship
Acclamation: joining with the angels, the congregation sings or recites the "Sanctus" This acclamation is an intrinsic part of the eucharistic prayer and all the people join with the priest in singing or reciting it.
The meaning of the prayer is that the entire congregation joins itself to Christ in acknowledging the great things God has done and in offering the sacrifice.
Whenever he is present at a Mass with a congregation, it is fitting that the bishop himself preside over the assembly and associate the presbyters with himself in the celebration, if possible by concelebrating with them.

Some Things in Life are too Beautiful to be Forgotten
Note that the Congregation for Divine Worship does not talk specifically about a Missal of 1965 but the 1962 editio typica adapted by the decrees of 1965 and 1967.
In October 1974, the Sacred Congregation for Divine Worship, under the signatures of Cardinal Knox (Prefect) and A. Bugnini (Secretary), published a document entitled Conferentiarum Episcopalium to Episcopal conferences on the obligation to use the new Roman Missal.
Writers distinguish between Divine and human rubrics, but as soon as rubrics are approved by the sovereign pontiff and promulgated in his name it seems to us that they emanate from a Divine - human authority, and none save the Church has the right to establish such rules.

Zenit News Agency - The World Seen From Rome
Vox Clara was formed in 2001 by the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Sacraments to advise on the work being done for the official English translation of the Roman missal by the International Commission on English in the Liturgy (ICEL).
The cardinal repeated that Vox Clara is only an advisory group to the Congregation for Divine Worship and that ICEL is doing the translations, and doing them well.
Cardinal Pell seems confident that the new translation will also help to strengthen the transcendental dimension of our worship.

PetersNet: Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments, Directory on Popular Piety and the Liturgy: Principles and Guidelines
Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments
This major document from the Congregation for Divine Worship provides a comprehensive examination of popular piety and private devotion and how these relate to the liturgical life of the Church.
With regard to the socialization of the place in which the community is called to celebrate the divine mysteries and give praise to the Lord, it must be noted that many of these had been transformed from places of pagan worship or profane use and dedicated exclusively to divine worship.

Catholic World News : Rome Hits the Brakes
Mario Marini, the Congregation for Divine Worship informed Kershaw that Archbishop Weakland had been asked "to suspend any work of renovation until the project may be reviewed by the Holy See." The review, said Kershaw, would likely take at least 90 days.
In an unprecedented intervention, the Vatican’s Congregation for Divine Worship has asked Archbishop Rembert Weakland to suspend the interior renovation of his cathedral church while the Vatican reviews a complaint filed by Milwaukee lay Catholics.
Meanwhile, as renovation crews unscrewed pews from the floor of the cathedral to be shipped off to the Progressive Baptist Church in Milwaukee, the archdiocese continued to claim that the letter from the Congregation for Divine Worship contained no instructions to suspend the renovation project.

 National Catholic Register
Vox Clara will advise the Congregation for Divine Worship on whether to grant that recognitio, which is necessary before any translation of any liturgical book may be used.
Liturgiam Authenticam is a Congregation for Divine Worship document released in March 2001 that laid out new guidelines for translations.
The creation of such a formidable group immediately led to speculation that the Congregation for Divine Worship was preparing to sideline the work of the International Commission on English in the Liturgy (ICEL), the troubled body which has principal responsibility for translating texts into English.

 Congregation for Divine Worship
The celebration of the eucharist is the center of the entire Christian life, both for the universal Church and for the local congregations of the Church.
In turn, eucharistic reservation, which became customary in order to permit the reception of communion, led to the practice of adoring this sacrament and offering to it the worship of latria that is due to God.
The Church continues to receive this gift with faith and love.

 Congregation for Divine Worship
The conferences of bishops should authorize a list of songs that are to be used in Masses with special groups, for example, with youth or children, and that in text, melody, rhythm, and instrumentation are suited to the dignity and holiness of the place and of divine worship.
The hierarchic character and sacramental power of the liturgy as well as the respectful service owed to the believing community demand that the priest fulfill his role in worship as the "faithful servant ant steward of the mysteries of God."[9] without imposing any rite not decreed and sanctioned by the liturgical books.
All musical elements have as their one purpose the celebration of divine worship.

Once the votes are collected, the top six choices, along with all of the names of those nominated, will be delivered to the Vatican's Congregation of Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments, the site's creator Francesco Diani said.
So far, about 5,000 visitors are casting their votes daily on www.santiebeati.it, something that delights Monsignor James P. Moroney, an expert on prayer and worship for the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops.
For them the monastery's resemblance more to a medieval castle than a place of worship is about to come into its own.
