 Byzantine Catholic Church in America
Byzantine Catholics are witnesses to the reality of the Resurrection and Ascension of Christ, and follow Christ, in and with Him, to His heavenly Kingdom in the Divine Liturgy, the principal liturgical service of the Byzantine Church.
Byzantine Christian Worship: God With Us Byzantine Catholic worship joyfully celebrates the presence of the Kingdom of God on Earth in and through its divine services and liturgical life.
Byzantine Catholics are followers of Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of the Living God, who in His great mercy came into the world and assumed our human nature by becoming a man so that He could save us from our sins by His passion, death, resurrection and glorious ascension to Heaven.

BYZANTINE CHURCH AND CULTURE by Archbishop Joseph Raya
Byzantine church worship feels the breath of the Holy Spirit, awakening us to our real God-worthy self.
Byzantine Christians today, both Orthodox or Catholic, need to cherish, revive, restore and develop further these values in their living of their faith as they spread the Gospel of Christ
Displayed in the ceremonies of Byzantine monasteries or in the humblest church, the elegance of worship becomes dazzling brilliance, splendor and glory for the people of God who share in it.

HISTORY of the Byzantine Catholic Church
Church, established by Jesus Christ, was spread across the world after the descent of Holy Spirit.
Byzantine priests were not equal coram state with Latin priests.
After the foundation of the Apostolic Exarchate in Kosice there are also great expectations of founding another Byzantine Catholic see and eventually the founding of an independent archeparchy of the Byzantine Catholic Church in Slovakia.

 CATHOLIC ENCYCLOPEDIA: Greek Church
Thus the Ruthenian Church of Galicia, the Rumanian Church of Austria-Hungary, the Bulgarian Church of Turkish Bulgaria, the Melchite Church of Syria, the Georgian Church, the Italo-Greek Church, and the Church of the Greeks in Turkey or in the Hellenic Kingdom -- all of them Catholic -- are often called the United Greek Churches.
Beyond and within the limits of the Roman Empire two other Churches had secured autonomy and broken with the Greek Churches; these were the Persian and the Armenian Churches, offshoots from the Church of Antioch.
Thus the Russian Church, separated from Rome, is an Eastern Church; in the same way the Greek Catholics who live in Italy, and are known as Italo-Greeks, make up an Eastern Church also.

Topical Sermons - Music In The New Testament Church
GREEK ORTHODOX - "The execution of Byzantine church music by instruments, or even the accompaniment of sacred chanting by instruments was ruled out by the Eastern Fathers as being incompatible with the pure, solemn, spiritual character of the religion of Christ." -- Constantine Cavarnos, BYSANTINE SACRED MUSIC 3.
Also, that our understanding of the kind of music to be used in the worship of the church is supported by what many historians, reformers, and scholars have said on the subject [Let's begin with a look at...] I.
In this lesson, we shall consider the MUSIC God wants in the worship of the church; in doing so...

 CATHOLIC ENCYCLOPEDIA: The Byzantine Empire
The schism between the Eastern and Western Churches thus reveals a fundamental opposition of viewpoints: the mutually antagonistic ideas of the universal Church and of independent national churches — an antagonism which both caused the schism and constitutes the insurmountable impediment to reunion.
The Byzantine imperial Church at last found itself almost exclusively confined to the Greek nation and its subjects.
As to the share which Byzantine ecclesiastical development had in this isolation, it must be conceded that the constitution of the Eastern Church was rather imperial than universal.

To be married in the Greek church, non-Orthodox brides or grooms must have been baptized in the name of the Trinity, either at another church or through conversion to the Orthodox faith, he said.
"The spiritual tradition is like a tree that produces new branches but (with all) feeding from the same source." All Christian churches and denominations share a common origin.
But the structure and form of the liturgy is the same as it has been for centuries, with most of the blessings and prayers -- and Communion preparation -- performed by priests behind a partition called the iconostasis.

Local Catholic Church History and Genealogy Research Guide and Worldwide Directory
Byzantine Catholic Church in America - http://www.byzcath.org/, who has kindly given guidance, and helped me grow in my understanding of the Byzantine Catholic Church.
For instance, in the Roman Catholic Church, the Sacraments of Baptism, Chrismation and Holy Eucharist (Holy Communion) are often received at different ages, while in the Byzantine Catholic Church, as in most of the Eastern Catholic Churches, these three Sacramental Mysteries of Baptism, Chrismation and Holy Eucharist are given together to infants.
The Byzantine Catholic Church, however, has traditionally allowed for married men to be ordained to the priesthood.
