Muslims believe that the name of Allah has existed since the time of Adam, since they believe their deity to be the same one worshipped by Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Muhammad and other prophets of Islam.
According to Islam, Allah is the God of Abraham, and thus the Muslims claim to be followers of the same God of Judaism and Christianity.
The father of Muhammad, Islam's prophet, had the name "Abdullah", which translates "servant of Allah." The pre-Islamic pagan Arabs claimed that the chief god at Mecca, Hubal, had three daughters, a belief condemned in Quran 53:19.

Hebrew name - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hebrew names are names that have a Hebrew language origin, classically from the Hebrew Bible.
While considerable scientific controversy exists concerning the origins of these names, LDS assert that many of them are ultimately of varying Hebrew, Egyptian and Arabic origin, along with some of asserted "Jaredite" origin, and most of the names do appear to have a great deal of Hebrew anatomy.
Most Hebrew names used by Jews (along with many Hebrew names used in Christendom) come from the Jewish Tanakh, known by Christians as the Old Testament.
