Eastern Orthodox Church - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Eastern Catholic Churches include the Armenian Catholic Church, the Chaldean Catholic Church, the Eparchy of Krizevci, the Italo-Albanian Catholic Church, the Maronite Church, the Romanian Catholic Church, the Ruthenian Catholic Church, the Syrian Catholic Church, the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church, the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church, and the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church.
Oriental Orthodox churches include the Coptic Church, the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, the Syriac Orthodox Church, the Malankara Orthodox Church, and the Armenian Church.
Eastern Orthodox ecclesiology is "Christocentric", viewing Christ Jesus as the head of the Church, and the Church as his body; with authority derived directly from this relationship.

Antiochian Orthodox Church - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Antiochian Orthodox Church is one of the five churches that comprised the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church before the Great Schism, and today is one of the autocephalous Eastern Orthodox Churches.
The Syrian Catholic Church, the Maronite Church, and the Melkite Greek Catholic Church, all of them in communion with the Roman Catholic Church, also claim to hold the patriarchate.
The claim is disputed by the Syriac Orthodox Church of Antioch, part of Oriental Orthodoxy ; the schism between the two occurred over the Christology of the Council of Chalcedon.

The Antiochian Orthodox Church - Saint Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church
The Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed states that Orthodox Christians “believe in One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church.”; The official designation of the Orthodox Church is the “Eastern Orthodox Catholic and Apostolic Church.”; The word Orthodox means “true worship.” Orthodox Christians affirm that the Orthodox Church is the living continuation of the Apostolic Church founded by Christ Himself.
The Church is God’s Church and therefore must be holy because God is holy.
Orthodox Christians believe that in the historical Orthodox Church there exists the full possibility of participating totally in the Church of God.

 St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church
The sensual ambience of the Orthodox temple with the total involvement of the senses during the divine services impacted in the minds and hearts of the laity the living tradition of their ancient faith…The Antochian Church is unique among other Orthodox churches, a bridge from North American life to them.
Known as "St. Nicholas Syrian Orthodox Church of Montreal", the renovated church accommodated about 100 people and includes a choir loft as well as facilities for a church school.

Orthodox Unity ... - Christianity Today Magazine
Three Orthodox bodies in America are the largest: Russian, Greek, and Antiochian (mostly composed of Arab Christians and those from the Middle East.) The Russian Orthodox were granted independence in 1970, and are now known as the Orthodox Church in America.
The Orthodox Church has a less-centralized form of government than the Roman Catholic Church does.
The Russian church would have guided Americans toward self-rule, until a full-grown American Orthodox Church was ready to stand on her own feet.
