 SPENTA ARMAITI: Spirit of Serenity
Spenta Armaiti is one of the Amesha Spentas, the seven "Bounteous Immortals" of the Zoroastrian tradition.
The object of Zoroastrian spirituality is to actualize the Amesha Spentas within oneself, and thus become closer and closer to God.
This means learning and practicing the virtues of each Amesha Spenta, whether they are "masculine" or "feminine." In the pairing of Spenta Armaiti and Asha, there is a balance between the "masculine" Justice, Truth, and Law of Asha, and the "feminine" qualities of Service, Kindness, Devotion, and Serenity.

 Amesha Spentas & Chakras
Although in post-Zarathushtra Zoroastrianism the Amesha Spentas were mythologized to attain angelic status, in the Gathas, Zarathushtra simply refers to them as aspects of the divine or divine emanations.
Spenta Armaiti is the spirit of Love and faith.
Instead he made the totality of the six Amesha Spentas become that by calling them aspects or emanations of Ahura Mazda.

 CATHOLIC ENCYCLOPEDIA: Book of Tobias
Still, admitting the reading of the Vulgate, the Amesha Spentas have infiltrated into Avestic religion from the seven Angels of Hebraistic Revelation and not vice versa.
These seven are the Amesha Spentas of Zoroastrianism: cf.
True, he is, at times, grouped with the six lower spirits as seven Amesha Spentas; but in this grouping we have not by any means seven angels standing before the Deity.

HAURVATAT AND AMERETAT - Wholeness and Immortality
Zarathushtra, in his Gatha hymns, mentions Haurvatat and Ameretat in many verses, though not as often as he does the other Amesha Spentas.
As with the other Amesha Spentas, the Zoroastrian spiritual way teaches that we can strive to realize these divine Attributes in ourselves.
In Zoroastrian tradition, each Amesha Spenta has guardianship over a sector of Creation, thus representing the Presence of God in the natural, physical world.

 Jashan Cermony of Zoroastrian Religion
These Amesha Spentas were later linked to some of the creations of Ahura Mazda and believed to be the guardian of these creations.
In his Gathas Zarathustra describes certain attributes, characteristics, qualities of Ahura Mazda and hundreds of years after Zarathustra’s time these attributes were personified and believed to be Divine Beings called Amesha Spentas.

Vohu Manah led Zoroaster to the presence of Ahura Mazda (God) and five other radiant beings, which are called the Amesha Spentas (Holy Immortals).
The answers given to Zoroaster are the foundations of Zoroastrian religion.
This was the first of a number of visions in which Zoroaster saw Ahura Mazda and his Amesha Spentas; during each vision he asked many questions.

Simple and Practical Zoroastrianism: by Dr. Pallan R. Ichaporia
Zoroastrianism, being a highly sensitive ecological religion, defends and respects the purity of the seven elements of creation which are earth, water, fire, cattle (animals), plants, air (sky, metals), and men.
These seven elements are guarded by seven Amesha Spentas.
Polluting is like offending against the rules of purity of these elements, which in turn implies offending the Amesha Spentas.

 Amesha Spentas
In Zoroastrianism the doctrine of the seven Amesha Spentas and the seven creations was to inspire in man a deep sense of responsibility for the world around him.
Amesha Spentas, Holy Immortals, take ancient Iranian theology into the realm of myth, for they are gods without being gods, created without being creatures, and preside over great natural features without being identified with them.
Each Spenta is chief of his creation, but is bound to the other six by a shared sense of purpose, which, for all Spentas, is striving for a common goal, man consciously and the rest naturally, for which they were brought into existence for to utterly defeat evil.

 S. H. Taqizadeh: Old Iranian Calendars
The Egyptian habit of naming their months and days after different divinities also was not apparently without influence in the denomination of the new Mazdayasnian months and days.
After the supreme divinity comes first Vohu Manah from the right hand, then Spenta Armaiti from the left, then (interrupted by a non-Angelic month) Asha Vahishta from the right, then the twin Angels Haurvatat and Ameretat from the left (though separated again by a stranger) and then at last Khshathra Vairya from the right.
Their sequence is only broken now and then by the months consecrated to the older deities.

 Glossary
We see these echoes in all the "religions of the book."
: According to the Zoroastrian teachings it was Angra Mainyu (Evil Spirit) who killed the first Plant, the Bull and the Man. Evil triumphed and the Amesha Spentas (Angels created by Ahura Mazda) created life from death and brought the world as we know it today, into being.
It is a female, which in the opinion of Spenta Mainyu, led to the negative expressions related to the female gender, like "woman / female is bad", or she should be kept at arms length and always under the control of the male gender.
