Allah - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Allah is the Arabic term for "God" in Abrahamic religions, specifically the main term for God in Islam.
The Bahá'í Faith, whose scriptures are primarily written in Arabic and Persian, also uses Allah to mean God, though in practice the customary word for God in the local language is typically used when speaking in that language.
The Arabic translation of the Jewish Bible uses the name "Allah" to refer to God in Genesis 1:1.

God - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Allah (Arabic allāhu الله) is traditionally used by Muslims as the Arabic word for "God" (not "God's personal name", but the equivalent of the Hebrew word "El" as opposed to "YHWH").
Allah is the unique name of God used in Islam, and also by most non-Muslim Arabs.
However, theologians and linguists argue that "Allah" is merely the Arabic word for "God," and not the literal name of a specifically Muslim God (this is more clearly shown by the fact that Arabic-speaking Christians and Jews refer to God as "Allah" with no problem whatsoever).

 Allah - Uncyclopedia
One of the main reasons we know that Allah is a false god is because of the attributes given to him by his followers.
This undeniably proves that Allah and his religion are naturally vengeful, hateful, and murderous, and out to get the old-fashioned, all-American Christian values that we strive to uphold.
The surest way to tell that Allah is imaginary is that his followers say that he has not "begotten".

 Introduction to Islam
The name Allah (God) in Islam never refers to Muhammad (pbuh), as many Christians may think; Allah is the personal name of God.
This means to act on what Allah enjoins all of us to do (in the Qur'an) and what His beloved Prophet, Muhammad (pbuh) encouraged us to do in his Sunnah (his lifestyle and sayings personifying the Qur'an).
Belief in the prophethood of Muhammad (pbuh) entails belief in the guidance brought by him and contained in his Sunnah (traditions of his sayings and actions), and demands of the Muslim the intention to follow his guidance faithfully.

Revue Biblique, Oct., 1906, 580 sqq.) Let it be noted that although Allah is an Arabic term, it is used by all Moslems, whatever be their language, as the name of God.
It is preposterous to assert with Curtiss (Ursemitische Religion, 119) that the nomadic tribes of Arabia, consider seriously the Oum-el-Gheith, "mother of the rain", as the bride of Allah and even if the expression were used such symbolical language would not impair, in the least, the purity of monotheism held by those tribes.
It is certain, however, that before the time of Mohammed, owing to their contact with Jews and Christians, the Arabs were generally monotheists.
